WHEN SHOULD I BOOK A PHOTOGRAPHER?

Ideally 18 months to 2 years before the wedding. Once you have secured your venue and date then a photographer will probably be your next call. I will do my best to accommodate you but please do get in touch at your earliest convenience.

WILL I BE ABLE TO COME AND MEET YOU BEFORE BOOKING?

Yes of course. I always like to either meet you face to face or at least have a FaceTime call before booking. Choosing a photographer is a personal choice and meeting up is the perfect opportunity for us to get to know each other. I can show you examples of my work and answer any questions that you may have.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER?

I’ve been shooting weddings in Kent and the surrounding areas for 19 years.

WHAT IF YOU ARE ILL ON THE DAY?

If this was to happen then I am able to call upon a number of other photographers who I trust completely, to photograph your special day to my high standards.

WHAT’S YOUR STYLE OF PHOTOGRAPHY

I take very natural, unobtrusive shots and will be guided by you to ensure you get what you would like from your images. I want you to feel comfortable on your wedding day. Please see my testimonials for examples of my lovely clients experiences.

DO YOU WORK ON YOUR OWN?

Yes, I usually work alone and will capture all aspects of your wedding from the groom and bridal prep, ceremony, speeches, group and couple shots, right through to your first dance. If you would like a 2nd photographer then I work with a number of other photographers and can arrange this for you.

ARE YOU INSURED?

Yes, I have public liability and professional indemnity insurance.

CAN WE ASK FOR SPECIFIC GROUP PHOTOS?

Of course, this is an important part of your day. I will have a day plan meeting with you both, a month or so before the wedding where we will discuss timings of the day and any specific shots and group shots that you would like me to capture on the day

HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL WE RECEIVE?

The number of photos you receive depends on the package that you book. The shorter Digital package 1 gives you around 200-250 edited image and the longer Digital package 2 gives you around 300 edited images.

However, with both packages, you will receive all of the unedited “other” images of which there will be around 1000-1200 images.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?

Your final edited images and “others” will be given to you on USB around 4-6 weeks after the wedding. I will invite you to come to the studio for a viewing and the USB will be yours to take away with you.

HOW DO I ORDER A STORY BOOK?

My bespoke fairytale story books start from £400. They are designed by me and printed in the UK. You can order one at the time of securing the wedding booking, or alternatively this can be ordered after the wedding. They are usually ready for collection around 4-6 weeks after you have given your photo selection for the book.

DO I GET USAGE RIGHTS?

You will get the full printing rights. This means that you can print, copy and display the pictures in anyway you like. I will own the copyright for commercial reasons. For example, if a magazine or large brand asked to use one of your wedding photos then they would need to ask me for permission. Of course, I would always check that you were happy for me to do this beforehand and if you didn’t agree then I wouldn’t give my permission.
